“In the 2024 harvest, there was the opportunity and the pleasure of starting tests on some of our Barroca da Malhada wines using Chestwine®, an innovative product used as an alternative to sulfites. The product developed by Tree Flowers Solutions represents the possibility of a significant evolution in the production of low-intervention wines, allowing the creation of wines with zero added sulfites, one of the main challenges in sustainable and organic winemaking. The results so far have been very satisfying, with the support, monitoring and assistance of the Tree Flowers Solutions team. The expectation is to soon have the Barroca da Malhada wines ready to present.”
“Chestwine® began to be used to test an innovative solution in wine production, and the results have been positive. The wine maintains its original characteristics, enhancing fruity flavours and preserving its original colour.”
“The best-selling wine, produced from Tempranillo red grapes, was entirely vinified with Chestwine®. The result was wines that are more direct and fruit-driven, despite the very challenging sanitary and harvest conditions in 2024. Excellent results and no oxidation of the wine.”
