The “Bio4Drinks – Development of Multifunctional Natural Ingredients for the Beverage Industry” project aims to foster innovation within the natural ingredients and beverage industries through applied research and the development of multifunctional natural compounds. These ingredients are intended for incorporation into products such as beer and flavored water, using valorized by-products from the vitiviniculture and chestnut production chains.

In this regard, a multidisciplinary consortium with proven experience in the scope of the project was assembled, consisting of three companies: Tree Flower Solutions Lda., FermentUM, and the Super Bock Group, as well as two entities from the National Scientific and Technological System (SCTN), MORE – Collaborative Laboratory of Mountain Research, and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), two strategic partners for TFS.
